Display their FAQs

With any new business there will be questions. Here are a few we have heard over the last couple of weeks.

1. Do you buy books from customers?

We do not buy books from customers as a general practice. Unless you have something that would really catch our attention, like a rare fine, it just isn't our cup of tea.

2. Do you have new and used or just used?

Great question. We have two shelves dedicated to used books. 98% of the books in our store are NEW.

3. Are your prices comparable to discount booksellers?

We are an independent bookstore. We are not part of a chain, but we wanted to bring a great experience to the local marketplace. We have our bestsellers table at 10% off list every day. From time to time we will have flash sales. And on special days, we will have other discounts. But we are not a wholesaler or a discount bookstore.

4. Who are the owners?

The owners are Keith and Rebekka Pruitt, residents of Old Hickory who have roots in the Nashville area dating back before the Civil War. Rebekka, Keith's daughter, is the manager of the store, and on most days you will find us in the store.
